Unlike any zoo you’ve seen before, this one is home only to native animals—like jaguars, tapirs, monkeys, and toucans—living in big, natural enclosures surrounded by jungle. The zoo is easy to walk and a favorite with visitors of all ages.

After the zoo, you’ll continue to the cave tubing site. A short jungle walk (about 30–45 minutes, mostly flat) brings you to the river where your tube, life jacket, and helmet are ready. Then the real fun begins: float gently along the calm underground river as your guide points out sparkling rock formations and shares stories about the caves’ Maya history. It’s peaceful, cool, and absolutely unique.

How far do we need to hike for the Belize cave tubing?

It is approximately a 30-45 minute walk through the jungle to get to the entry point. you will cross one river, duck through caves and this is a truly wonderful part of the experience! Not wheelchair accessible.
